The Course's

This challenge will see you experience the Killary Fjord in the most personal and special way possible as you become one with the spectacular scenery along the fjord.

The start/finish will be at the Killary Adventure water site.

* For rugby fans, dont worry you will be finished by kick off!

The Courses:

There is a course to suit all levels:

20km – Racing/ touring sea kayaks & Racing/ touring sea kayaks doubles. Must be an experienced paddler and have experience of rough seas.
10km – Touring & touring doubles. Must be an experienced paddler.
5km - Fun/Novice open water- sea kayaks & General purpose kayaks. This course is for beginner paddlers who have paddles a few times but would like to have a challenge.

The courses maybe altered due to weather conditions.

We will have safety boats on the water for the duration of the event, but competitors must be very competent for the course they have chosen. Please read all the race rules.

Facilities:

We will have changing & showering facilities available at the Killary Adventure activities site.

All competitors will receive homemade hot soup at the finishline.
