Event Schedule

Registration

Registration will be held at Killary Adventure Centre, on the morning of the event from 8.30am until 10.30am. All competitors must register to receive their race numbers.

Parking

We will have parking available at the centre so please follow marshals instruction and do not park on the road side outside the centre unless told to do so. We please ask that you car pool and if you are staying at Sleepzone hostel that you walk to the start/finish line - this will take about 10 mins to walk. This road to sleepzone will be closed while the race is running.

Race Starts -

This year we will have 2 waves that will leave at set times. The first wave will start at 11am with the next wave at 11.30am. We will let you know which groups are in each wave in your final mailout in the week before the event. You can not change your group after you have entered.

Ready, Steady, Bog!! What lies in front is a course with an abundance of obstacles and challenges, so get stuck in!

We will be emailing you a copy of the course before the race. This will only have the names of the challenges/obstacles, you will not find out what you will be doing along the route until you are competing. Please look at the course before the event so that you will understand which arrows you will have to follow - the course has a series of loops, so you will follow different coloured arrows for each loop.

The course will be open until 3.30pm.

Spectators location

We will have a number of areas that spectators are welcome to watch the action. These will be marked on the map but we do ask that you listen to marshals and stand well back from the challenges. Spectators will not be allowed to drive on any section of the course, no matter what the weather is like.

9pm Prize giving

This will be held at Killary Adventure Centre and we will have a number of prizes, not just for the overall winners.

9.30pm After Party

The after party will follow the prize giving and will be fancy dress, so you better start thinking of a good costume as we will have prizes for this to. This years theme is the Letter "T" for Turf Guy.
